BLUES BUMPS is a sweaty voyage to the roots of our music, through Blues contaminated artists you’ll experience heavy, raw, mystical and psychedelic sounds & visuals. On January 17th we present you a special evil night in which we’ll explore the raw Mississippi sounds transported in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, on stage:

FRANCESCO PIU:
The Blues Traveler. Heading from Sardinia. A graceful and explosive mix of Blues, Funk, Soul, Rock & more.
He’ll step on a Berliner stage for the first time, accompanied by his energetic drummer in a mind-blowing combo that is gonna hit you.
With his 4th studio album „CROSSING“ Francesco leads Robert Johnson and his legendary tunes to the Mediterranean Sea, through his voice and the slide on his electric guitar, colored with African and Middle Eastern percussion, Arab and Greek strings, electronic parts and Sardinian ancestral sounds.

KAT BALOUN:
An institution of the Berlin Blues scene, harp player and singer from Texas. In Berlin since 25 years, she made music and jammed with countless great musicians, and in 2014 she gained an endorsement by the legendary Hohner Harmonica. At BLO she’ll play with his loyal guitarist Stefano Ronchi, try to hold your hips if you can.

CABOOSE:
Experimental-Blues 2-piece born in Italy and based in Berlin since 2013. A sharp and rough slide guitar and a tribal tight drumming that diverge and collide at the same time. Traditional sounds touching gently R&B and winking the groove of psychedelic rock.
